It's time for spring cleaning!
Spring is my favorite time of year...all of the gorgeous colors, new growth, and baby chicks at the nearby farm store. ☺
I just love it!
For me, spring also means that I dive into doing some hard core cleaning that I don't normally do: kitchen cabinets, window blinds, and a lot more.
But every day in my home, I'm cleaning something to keep things up and not so cluttered.
One of the things that I clean every week (besides sanitizing every day) is my kitchen sink. It's white - and big.
We love our white sink - but it is a problem keeping it white. So far, all that I've found to keep it very clean and white is to use non-chlorine bleach in it. I fill up the sink basin with water, and pour in a bit of bleach and let it sit overnight. It really becomes clean and white with that.
I decided to give a new product a try on my kitchen sink: Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle.
I knew what I was going to try first: my kitchen sink. Would Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle whiten and clean my sink so I would no longer need to use chlorine bleach? Hmm.

I received a bottle of Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle, a foam sponge, a small bucket, and a checklist pad to check off my cleaning tasks.
Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle offers two methods of use: full strength, and diluting it in water. I decided to use it full strength in my sink, since so little has got it white and clean over the years. You can see from the photo on the left that Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle was able to get the gray "scratches" off of the sink and divider, but it seemed to spread the grease/stains all around the sink, not remove them. I was disappointed.
There's nothing "gritty" in Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle, but I was still hoping it would cut through any grease and stains and remove them.
I'm planning to try using Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle in my master shower next (my least favorite place to clean with its 25-year-old tile that needs replacing), but since again, that's one spot that has never looked clean no matter what product I've used on it, I'm not expecting much. If it does work better than other things I've tried in the past, I'll let you know.
