The Perfect Voice ~ by Roger Love
One of my daughters works hard each week on her public speaking abilities. Yep, she actually thrives on being able to give prepared and impromptu speeches in front of groups of people. My other daughter loves to sing, and is wanting to start taking voice lessons. Since my husband and I have also worked to improve our public speaking skills, I thought this would be a great product to review and share with you. |

Roger Love has coached people all over the world in how to become a more confident speaker and singer, utilizing a person's natural speaking voice and boosting its natural range and ability. He's even worked with many famous actors, actresses, and singers and performers. Neat! |
Review from Joy In Our Journey
The Perfect Voice program starts out with an introduction to what will be taught in the audio CDs or MP3s. A series of voice exercises, geared for men or women (we could select one or the other) are available so people don't injure their voices trying to improve their skills.
The Perfect Voice is designed to be practiced in the privacy of one's own home. And, it's a lot less expensive than hiring a voice coach for over $75 per hour!
The one problem we did have with listening to The Perfect Voice audio CDs (in our case, MP3), was that there are no visual cues at all. This is merely an audio recording, so those viewers who don't learn well using "audio only" programs may find that you become bored or uninterested in this program. I was able to listen and practice some sections, but my daughters found the content interesting - but the presentation to be boring due to nothing at all moving on the screen. One of my daughters, who is highly motivated to learn on her own, felt she had no motivation to continue to listen to The Perfect Voice.
I'd love to see DVDs made from this material; I think it would generate a much broader viewer base for an excellent program.
