A Little Hair Bling for Spring - Lilla Rose GIVEAWAY!

I've always wanted to be able to wear some of the amazing hair styles you see, above.  But my hair doesn't look all that great in an updo or ponytail.  For some reason, the shape of my face has never allowed me to wear fancy updos or other fun hair styles.

However, my daughters both have long, beautiful hair and can wear their hair in countless numbers of styles.  Oh, the joy of never getting bored with how hair is done!  That's something that I've personally never experienced.  ☺

I'm hosting a giveaway for Lilla Rose products, so read through my comments, see which product you'd like best, and enter the giveaway, below!

Picture
Over the years, I've purchased lots of types of hair clips, barrettes, ponytail holders, etc., etc., etc. for my girls.  Most of them either wouldn't stay in my daughters' hair, or they just didn't look attractive and were too difficult to use...or they easily broke.

I started seeing the Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clips being reviewed by lots of bloggers, but I was skeptical.  They looked beautiful, but they must be shoddy or not work well all day in the hair...I thought.

However, I won a blog giveaway for a Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clip, and when it came in the mail, we were pleasantly surprised!

If you are at an extremely busy stage of life (with babies and little ones...or at the other end of the spectrum where you are caring for elderly parents)...

...or if you are a college student who has very little time each morning to spend time on your hair, I think you are going to really enjoy the Lilla Rose hair jewelry products!

The Flexi Hair Clips are very beautiful and stylish.  They are extremely well manufactured, better than anything I could buy in my local stores.  There are so many styles from which to choose that it took us a long time to select the one clip that we would receive from the giveaway!
Picture
The Flexi Hair Clip comes in six sizes to accommodate different hair types and styles. Depending on the amount and type of hair, you might use a small for a ponytail, but a large for a French Twist. Here are some videos and written tips to help you determine what size(s) of Flexi you need, and also how to do 8 common hair styles to keep things fresh.

Over the last couple of years, I've ordered from Lilla Rose several times for new Flexi Clips for my girls.  They've received them in their Christmas stockings, Easter baskets, and for Valentine's Day and birthdays.

Time to have fun and give away Lilla Rose hair products!

Independent Lilla Rose Consultant Susan Peterson is offering TWO of Joy In Our Journey's readers anything in the Lilla Rose catalog up to $16!

In addition to being a Trim Healthy Mama, Susan Peterson is excited to be a representative for the Lilla Rose company because she and her girls use and love the products! Susan bought her first Flexi at the state fair at least ten years ago, and it is still as strong and beautiful as ever!

The star of the Lilla Rose line is the Flexi Clip. Flexis are stronger, more versatile, and more beautiful than barrettes. But Flexis are only the beginning of what Lilla Rose offers. Check out all the other great products at www.lillarose.biz/happy!

There's only one catch:  this giveaway is open to brand new online Lilla Rose customers only.

That means only U.S. residents who have never purchased any products from Lilla Rose online are welcome to enter the giveaway.

If you've purchased Lilla Rose products in the past - but not online - then you are welcome to enter this giveaway provided that you are a U.S. resident.

Why is this Lilla Rose giveaway set up in this way?

The Lilla Rose web pages are set up so that customers will always return to the page of the same consultant that they have used in the past.  If you have purchased any Lilla Rose products online in the past, your purchase would be credited to that consultant, and not to our giveaway consultant, Susan Peterson.

Because Susan is offering the giveaway prizes at her own cost, we want to honor that and make sure she is credited with any purchases made through this review and giveaway.

Make sense?  If not, please leave your questions in the comments section below.  Thanks!

Entrants must be 18 years or older; only U.S. residents are eligible to enter this giveaway.

I will select the winner of this prize using Random.org (via this Rafflecopter entry form, below).

I will be verifying the winning entrant's giveaway entry options to make sure they are valid.  In the past several months, multiple potential winners were excluded from winning even though their names had been selected randomly as winners, because they said that they had signed up for email subscriptions but had not completed the process, which includes clicking on an email you will receive to confirm your subscription.  An email subscription to Joy In Our Journey.com is not a requirement to enter our giveaways, but if you do use an email subscription option to enter to win, please make sure that you click on the confirmation email that you will receive.  That will validate your entry.  Thank you!   :)

Just realized I didn't comment on the right thing :)
I struggle with making my hair look nice and sexy with only a limited amount of time to mess with it (homeschooling 5 kids will do that). It has also thinned out considerably over the last few years. Would love to try a new product that will give me some bling without too much fuss.

Jessica, I think you'll really like the Lilla Rose products. While they are more expensive than a $2 hair clip or something, they are very high quality! My girls have used them over and over again, and they still look and work like brand new. :)

For thinning hair, you might consider using dry shampoo and washing your hair every other day, if you don't already do that. I use Suave's dry shampoo for under $3 per bottle - and I'm LOVING how my hair has so much more texture and body to it! :) Never thought I'd go to washing my hair every other day - ever!

Maintenance struggle, hmmm My hair is just all over the place and I mean the house. I struggle with the fact that my hair has curl underneath, wave throughout the middle, but the crown is straight.

Maria, I don't know if you've gone onto the Lilla Rose website yet and watched the video on how to decide which Flexi-Clip would work for your type and length of hair, but they show the half-up, which might be a good hair style with the Flexi-Clip for your hair as you described it. :)

Maintenance struggle....keeping it healthy as it grows out! My hair is thick but very fine so it tends to split! Looking for a natural way to keep it healthy!

You might want to give the Lilla Rose hair products a try, Rachel. They look elegant and fun without hardly any work at all! (And I'm not a consultant for Lilla Rose...but I've watched all the fun, beautiful hairstyles my girls have done with their Flexi-Clips, and it's amazing!

I wonder if any of the Burt's Bees or Jason natural baby shampoos would work to help you out. I know getting a tiny trim every 6 weeks can really help with the split ends, but one of my daughters found that using the Jason natural baby shampoo really helped her.

Hmmm, I think I would choose to get a mini flexi. I've never seen or heard of the Lilla Rose, but I'm excited about the possibility of winning one and trying it out.

Well, my short hair is no problem. But my wife has long hair and has to figure out how to keep it up and out of the way without a lot of time.

Dan, maybe watching the "Which Flexi-Clip is for You?" video and ordering a couple of different sizes for your wife might be a great idea for a "Wife Appreciation Day" surprise! :) You could send her the link to the video (it's also on YouTube), and then surprise her with some Flexi-Clips. :) I'd think that would be quite the winner!

Finding a wash and wear look that I like.

Well, I've been washing my hair every other day for the last month - first time in my entire life to give this a try - and using Suave's inexpensive dry shampoo on the "no wash" days is working wonders for my hair! :) A lot less hair loss...more body and texture...I'm so excited! :) My hair still doesn't look all that great pulled back in a clip or anything...but it has nothing to do with my actual hair. I just don't look good with my hair pulled back. :(

My daughter was just telling me about this product the other day. She said it would work well for my super thick hair, so I am interested.

My hair is this, straight and fine. I can't do anything with it!

It is always a struggle to figure out what to do with my daughter's long wavy hair - leave it down, put it up . . .

Well, now you'll have even more options if you use a Flexi-Clip. I'm amazed at how durable they are!

I can relate! I keep thinking that at some point, my hair will "grow up" and let me work with it! :)

My hair is very fine, so I need to wash it and dry it every day to add body. The time involved is my #1 challenge.

I just started using dry shampoo every other day (inexpensive stuff by Suave), and I am SO MUCH HAPPIER with my hair! I had to wash and dry/style it every day because it was thin and very straight, but now it has body and bounce - and I love it! :) I can't believe I waited this many years to give every other day shampooing a try! The dry shampoo is making the biggest difference for me. I wouldn't say it's cheaper, because I go through one can of dry shampoo about every three days of use - but it's worth it because I am really enjoying my hair now! :)

My hair is very thick and has a mind of it's own. I need to learn more styles to handle it!

I think you're going to love the Lilla Rose hair accessories, Jaclyn. They are wonderful and work with so many different hairstyles!

My hair always seems to get oily quick. I'd love to be able to throw it up in some hair jewelry & go out, instead of just the old pony tail holder.

My hair is thinning and all I ever do is put it in a scrunchie. I need to find a way to look nicer.

I like all of the flexi-clips. The one with the treble cleff is cool.

We've bought the one with the treble clef. It is so beautiful! It's actually very hard to select just one or two of their Flexi-Clips, since they have sooooo many styles! :)
