![]() I don't read and follow tons and tons of blogs, but there are a few I just love! I'd follow and read a lot more of them if I had more time... Anyway, Amy Bayliss has a really neat blog/website that I just enjoy so much. Every posting she has is either inspiring, helpful, or just so much fun! If you want to know what I mean, head over to her site and take a glance at these totally CUTE altered composition books and journal covers that she has taught us to make! Now, aren't those darling? !!! Anyone - and I mean anyone - even if you don't sew or aren't "crafty" (in a good sense) could make these covered books. The list of supplies is small, and the price, especially this time of year, is just right. Here are Amy's directions for these darling books. This would be a fun back-to-school project, even for homeschooling families. (Boys could choose something that is more masculine or boyish and leave off the bow...you know.) If you haven't been making time to do something nifty with art or craft supplies, here's your opportunity to get out a few things and be creative. Have fun and enJOY!

It would be a great idea for Clara's stories! Then she will stop using all my computer paper, LOL.

My girls' creativity has been making videos this summer and doing graphic design, so we haven't really done any crafts and projects like this yet. I think we'll have to give it a try! Let me know how it goes for you and the girls! :)
