Apologia Biology 2nd Edition Editable Schedule

    We're diving into a new year of Apologia Science...and this year, we're exploring Biology from a Christian perspective.

    I never minded dissections in high school, so we're going to be doing all of those that are normally expected in a high school biology class...and maybe even a few more than I did in my high school years.

    Interested in downloading a schedule for Apologia Biology for the 2013-2014 school year? I found editable science and math schedules at Core Foundation and modified them to fit our family's schedule.

    Feel free to download these PDF and Microsoft Word schedules for your own family's use. EnJOY science together as a family!

How I customized these schedules for our own family:

    These schedules didn't provide a class day to study before a Module test, so I decided to shuffle the days around for every two weeks so that one full class period or day was available to study for the tests.

    I also changed the format slightly to not have any week lesson plans to be split between two different pages of paper.

    For the Apologia Biology vocabulary words at the bottom of each week plan, you'll notice that in parentheses, you'll see the page number of where the word may be found (with its definition). This should help students find it easier to go back and look up a key concept within the module.

    For the study sessions, your high schoolers are free to fill out the Apologia Study Guides, use online flashcards, or any other method you prefer for studying for Module tests.

    If you have questions, please let me know. I may not be able to answer all of them, since we are just starting out with this book, but I'll at least give it a try!

Thank you for sharing your lesson plans! I am on my last child (out of four) and it is time to do biology again. Your plan is better than the one I purchased years ago online. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Thank you for this free form. Doing Apologia outside of co-op has kind of handicapped me this last year. My kids don't seem to know how to structure the lab reports on their own, so I am grateful for this!
