Autumn is my favorite time of year! I love cool mornings and evenings, the sound of dried leaves skittering across the sidewalk, the colors of the trees. It's so refreshing to have a change in seasons, and here in the Pacific Northwest, we do see a nice change every few months! Autumn decorations have been available in our local stores for months now...some were being displayed and sold as early as July 5th. Yikes! But it's difficult to find autumn/fall decorations that share a biblical worldview. I saw an idea like this from D. Martin, in her "Christian Fall Decorations" for sale on CurrClick.com, but I wanted decor that had a muted look to it and that used Scripture verses in a translation that would be easily understandable, even to those who don't read Shakespeare. So, I decided to design my own set! You are welcome to print these off for your own family use. They'll print well on cardstock or index paper, and you may choose to laminate them if you'd like, for years of use. Please note the copyright on the downloads, and use them for your own personal family use only. These are not available for sharing over the internet, on another website, etc. Thanks! NOTE: For some of you, including myself, these printable pages aren't showing up for you to print off. If you can't seem to see them or print them, please go to my alternative page that should work better for you: Thanks! Julieanne Here are some other biblical seasonal decorations I have available for you to download and use!

These are just beautiful and something that has a great purpose. I'm going to add these into our schoolroom and we can focus on learning one of these scriptures a week!

Actually, Dana, these were really quick to make! (Of course, I had Kelsi's help in doing the graphic design; I just needed to add the text and convert them to PDF so you could print them out.)

Just wanted to say thanks - I like putting scripture notes in Esmé's lunch box, and these are perfect! :)

Hello Julieanne, I just came across your site via Pinterest whilst looking for some crafts for a Party in the Light alternative to Halloween for our Junior Church. I'll be in charge of the crafts and these pumpkin scripture verses are ideal for either including in bags or having around the church as decorations. I love them! The only problem is I am not able to download them for some reason. Do you know what could be the problem?

Julieanne- Thank you for posting these wonderful scriptures and the creativity to place onto pumpkins! My family has been teaching our son alternatives to Halloween and this definitely helps in our decor around the house as well as guiding him to focus his life towards Him!

Thank you so much for these great pumpkins. I was looking for something for my Mission Kids to take to the nursing home and hand out to the residents.

Thanks!! I was looking for something for my son to hand out in class as an alternative to Halloween! I think we Christian are so used to seeing the stuff that we forget what it stands for and WHO is behind all! Thanks again!

I agree, Julia. I think we often do forget the intention and meaning behind certain events and tend to think they are completely harmless. When I look at some of the sad and horrible things that have happened in my area either on Halloween or the day before Halloween, including abduction and murder of a girl, I can't forget what the day actually stands for. :(
