Since our family began eating the Trim Healthy way, we haven't had the same kinds of smoothies we used to enjoy. We have new favorites that we like: Big Boy Smoothie, Fat Stripping Frappa, and others. I saw this idea on Facebook tonight, and thought it was an excellent one. Why didn't I think of this years ago? Wow - what a time saver! For those of you who mix up flavorful, healthy smoothies each morning, this would help make your breakfast smoothies so much quicker to prepare! Wash and cut up your choice of fruits and veggies. Separate them out into plastic zip bags or containers of your choice, placing enough of each fruit/veggie into each bag to make one smoothie or one family-sized smoothie. When you're ready to make your smoothie, add 1/2 cup almond milk and a scoop of protein powder, if desired. Yum! What are your favorite smoothie combinations to make at home?
