 It's always fun to wake up to good news. I just found out this morning that Thomas Nelson Publishers via their Book Sneeze blogging program, has selected me and some other Book Sneeze book review bloggers to receive two free passes to the 2011 Women of Faith conferences in our area! I didn't really think that I would be selected to be a part of this blogging program, but I was! I'm excited. In past years, I haven't signed up to attend the Women of Faith conference, because it was quite expensive with tickets, lodging, and meals, but now that I'll only need to pay for lodging (and sharing the cost for this with a friend) and a couple of meals, I think this is something I'm willing and able to do.  I’ll be able to listen to Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, Lisa Whelchel, Sandi Patty, Brenda Warner, Mandisa, Selah, Deborah Joy, and Andy Andrews. I've read some of their books, owned some of their albums, and have listened to many of them on Focus on the Family broadcasts for years. This will be fun! I can't wait to blog about the conference, after the fact. I'm excited to be a part of this blogging team, and I know this will be such a blessing. Here's a taste of what the conference will be like: Now, to just figure out who to take with me!
